Girl Toys or Boy Toys?

Sometimes it's tough having two sisters. There's always this cool sparkly stuff lying around, and it's just too hard not to try it out. I'll admit it, shoes are my biggest weakness. I saw Linnea's sparkly, light-up Cinderella glass slippers just sitting on the floor, and I couldn't help myself...

I thought about it for a second...

Yep, it was kinda fun. I mean, the heels flicker blue light with each step!

Pretty cool, right?  ...No?

Well, I feel sheepish! I guess these things are pretty darn uncomfortable! Who wants to walk around on elevated plastic all day? Girls are weird!

...I prefer boy toys, thank you very much!

Yea, that's more like it. ;-)

Mother's Tea at The Berry Patch

This spring I was able to attend Mother's Tea at Linnea's preschool. We had juice and cookies, sang songs with the music teacher, and played in the gym. Linnea loved showing me her classroom, introducing me to all her friends, and just having me with her in what is typically "her" space.  She was proud of herself for knowing more about something than I did, and it was adorable. I love being able to spend time like this with Linnea, and I love that she loves preschool!
